Where am I now and what am I doing? I'm currently 30 years old, married, living in Boston, and
working as a medical illustrator/animator. I'm pretty much what you'd expect me to be. I
always loved to build, draw, model, mix chemicals, and play video games and that is exactly
what I do now ... kind of. Instead of blocks, metal, wood, screws, and clay, I create models
in a digital 3D environment (3ds Max), then I use my crayons (Photoshop), and/or my video
games (After Effects) and it is all based on my chemistry (medical training). I don't draw art,
I build it. I'm the senior animator for art director and acclaimed medical illustrator Bert Oppenheim
at ArgosyMedical.com,
and I work alongside Kevin Brennan (the walking human anatomy atlas and
knowledge base of random facts) and Joe Gorman (a huge personality and even better photoshop artist).
We each contribute something unique and complement each others' talents. Like most people I spend
the majority of my time Mon-Fri in the office and that is where I do my best work.
